Company Overview
Amazon's Operations Internal Communications (OIC) team is responsible for communicating need-to-know information to Amazon’s global network of front-line workers, consisting of over one million employees globally.
Scope of Work
I transferred to OIC in 2021 as the team’s second video-hire, and at the time, was the team’s sole videographer and editor. Now, I'm Head of Video Production, for OIC's internal Creative Services Team. Day-to-day, I manage incoming video requests, delegate assignments to freelance staff, film on-location, and perform hands-on editing of high-priority projects.

Ops Internal Comms (OIC) focuses on educating and inspiring frontline employees while helping them see Amazon as a place where they can build long, fulfilling careers. We do this through narrative-driven storytelling that highlights the personal experiences of real employees.

Training & Educational

Event Coverage
Delivering the Future is an annual Amazon event that informs the public about the company’s latest innovations. In addition to producing video assets used during the event, our team captures behind-the-scenes coverage for both internal and external audiences.

Social
While our primary focus is internal communications, we also manage a public-facing Instagram account, @amazonvestlife. Because scrappier, social-first content resonates most with this audience, we regularly experiment with platform-native formats and storytelling approaches.
